The Chinese Elements, also known as Wu Xing 五行, consists of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. The five elements are a cultural phenomena used to understand the happenings of the world. From the analysis of a Chinese character to the cosmic cycles of Feng Shui, the Chinese elements are an essential part to Chinese thought.
